Assalam - U - Alaikum & Hey My Beautiful Makeup Fanatic’s I have couple of great product reviews for you today. Since winters are here and most of the people are facing a similar issue i.e. dry skin problems, even though I am an oil tank throughout the year but this weather has really made me dry and I literally have started using skin care designed for Extreme Dry skin. TBH I am thanking ALLAH to have oily skin =D
About:
For a Makeup & Skin care Fanatic like me knowing the brand is certainly as important as having the knowledge of the product itself, its ingredients and the benefits of course.
Most of you must already know about Mustela being an international brand serving in USA, UK, Middle East and other Asian countries. But just in case you don’t they are skincare experts for babies and mothers-to-be since 1950. They have a range of several products ranging from skincare to bath and after shower. They claim of choosing ingredients with atleast 92% of natural origin, sourcing most of the key active ingredients from plants. They also claim of having products which are:
Alcohol Free
Paraben Free (Parabens are a class of widely used preservatives in cosmetic and pharmaceutical products to preserve many types of formulas – Glad there are no parabens here)
Fragrance Free
Phthalate Free (Phthalates are used in a wide range of common products, studies show that they may change hormone levels and cause birth defects – So another great innovation my Mustela of not adding any Phthalate)
So these products are pretty safe for oily, normal to the driest possible skin as well. It is said to be totally safe for skin that’s eczema prone. Sounds totally fantastic isn’t it? I’m in <3
Review:
Important: First off, I would like to tell you that I am not married and I don’t have any toddlers or new born baby’s around on whom I could have used the products on. It is just me and solely your truly who has tried these products. Now I really would like to go in depth into the 3 products I received.
PhysiObebe (No Rinse Cleansing Water)
I really wanted to review this product in the last but because of high levels of excitement it has to be the first =D
Claim/Usage/Ingredients:
Ideal for quick clean ups, this no-rinse cleansing fluid for face and diaper area effectively cleans and softens the skin. Gentle surfactants dissolve dirt and cleanse without stripping the natural oils and is gentle enough to use from birth on. Just apply to the skin using a soft cloth, diaper wipe or cotton pad and pat dry -- no rinsing needed.
Allantoin and Aloe vera leaf extract to soften and soothe.
Avocado Perseose.
Hydrogenated Castor Oil etc.
Price/Product:
The full size bottle of 10.14 oz. comes with a pump which is really handy, it costs $14.50 which is about PKR 1520.
My experience:
Now as the product tag says “No rinse cleansing water”, the first thing that popped up in my mind was “Miceller water”; this may sound hysterical but YES!! This is EXACTLY what it is and much safer as its chemical free. Great news my beauties.
At first I was a little hesitant in experimentation due to my skin being sensitive and also for the fact that it is oddly very dried out but when I read how it’s great for dry skin I readily tried it as a Makeup Remover with a help of a cotton swab. And WOW I was amazed to see the immediate results and how it removed my foundation off so quickly. It did not irritate my skin further whatsoever but the formula is so moisturizing that I felt as if my skin was feeling so soft after using it. Did not leave any unwanted residue behind.
I used it as an eye makeup remover as well …Trust me this did not sting my eye even for a sec. Yes it took me slightly more time to clean my liner but that doesn’t matter if the product works amazingly *-*
Recommending a Friend/Repurchasing:
Can’t RAVE less about it. Smells fantastic and I am repurchasing it and recommending it to my Makeup Fanatics...Yahoo ~
STELATOPIA (Cleansing Cream)
Pretty excited to share this one as well.
Claim/Usage/Ingredients:
Can be used for daily cleansing of the face and body of the newborns as well.
This cleanser cleanses, protects and soothes very dry and eczema-prone skin.
May be used in both bath and shower.
Soap-free and non-irritating formula.
Fragrance-free, Parabe, Phthalate and Phenoxyethanol-free.
Contains Glycerin, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sunflower seed oil, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Hydroxide etc.
Price/Product:
The full size bottle of 6.70 oz. comes with a pump which is really handy; it costs $12.50 which is about PKR 1300.
My experience:
Now this is a lil’ funny story here =D When I received the parcel out of excitement I did not even read the instruction and initially thought it’s a cream – which acts like a moisturizer with cleansing properties lol. I made up my mind to use it over night which thank God I didn’t hehe. It basically is a gel like formula which foams slightly and cleanses like a wash.
Now the great part is I used this as well to remove waterproof makeup and OMG it works!! The formula is very gentle. I massaged it on my face and eyes and within a min it cleaned all the makeup and dirt (sorry it’s gross but so True and useful) – No stinging - No residue - Happy with it.
Recommending a Friend/Repurchasing:
I believe any skin type can use it but it would be great for people preferably with Dry skin. As when I am oily (which is pretty much throughout the year except this time) I prefer a deep cleaning oil-free facial wash for myself I would not repurchase it right away but maybe next year during the same time when I am on the dry side.
Stretch Marks Prevention Cream
Again I am not a Mom – But trying to experiment this cream more on my neck area which is slightly saggy :p
Claim/Usage/Ingredients:

My experience:
TBH I have not experimented much with this product yet but all I can say is I will keep you guys updated with the results =D
